And, in my workshop I now have a very clean, tricone necked, German silver bodied style 0, which will also be for sale @$10,000 once I have completed any neccessary work. These very early single cone instruments were made with 3 piece bodies, before the introduction of the deep draw press, and have no engraving. Although they are usually referred to as style N, the 1928 National catalogue confirms them as the first style 0, (with no palm trees or other decoration) and this instrument with 'special' written inside may well be the earliest, and perhaps first, metal bodied single cone known! (BTW The 1928 catalogue lists style 0, (single cone) and style 1, style 2 and style 3 (tricones) so perhaps we should call them style 'Zero', rather than 'Oh').
